A veteran player and seasoned educator, he has worked with children from diverse backgrounds across continents, helping them build confidence, discipline, and resilience—both at the board and in life. His coaching emphasizes hands-on practice, thoughtful feedback, and a supportive environment where every student can flourish.
Alex has been playing chess since 1983, and his life’s work remains dedicated to developing young players’ strategic thinking, endurance, and character.
